EuroCloud gathers Europe’s first ever SaaS and cloud services community
EuroCloud is a new pan European business network for the SaaS solution providers and Cloud Computing industry. Among founders there are both smaller, local actors, and large companies like Amazon, McAfee, and Microsoft.
The Finnish chapter of the community was founded in autumn 2009. Microsoft Finland asked the committed group of its partners, The International Association of Certified Microsoft Partners (IAMCP), to organize a representation for the Finnish board of EuroCloud. We are very proud that IAMCP chose Sopima’s Markus Mikola as one of the board members.
“I think EuroCloud Finland is an excellent opportunity for the Finnish Microsoft partners. EuroCloud provides a common discussion forum for the actors within SaaS and cloud computing industry, locally but also internationally. For Sopima and its Online Contract Bank™ Service, EuroCloud will form an essential information channel between small and large SaaS and cloud actors, and at the same time it helps all of us to build relationships with the European Commission and Parliament”, says Mr. Mikola.
The demand and supply for SaaS services is rapidly growing in Europe and the idea of tighter co-operation over national borders is very welcome. Sopima’s team is looking forward to the activities of the EuroCloud Finland!
